Antony Davies is an associate professor of economics at Duquesne University and Research Fellow at Strata. He specializes in econometrics, public policy, and economic psychology. Davies has authored op-eds in more than 30 newspapers, including the Wall Street Journal and the Los Angeles Times, and is a regular columnist for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. He is a frequent lecturer at policy conferences on Capitol Hill and in state capitals.
Davies was chief financial officer at Parabon Computation, president and cofounder at Paragon Software, and cofounder and chief analytics officer at Repliqa. He has received two NASA research grants and a US patent for his work.
He earned his BS in economics from Saint Vincent College and his PhD in economics from the State University of New York at Albany. He is a member of the FEE Faculty Network.
