Tobin Slaven is the co-founder of Acton Academy Fort Lauderdale with his wife Martina, blending education and entrepreneurship. He has a B.A. from Colby College and an M.Ed. from the University of Maine. Tobin was originally trained to be a school leader, but his 20-year entrepreneurial journey spans agency ownership, consulting, and coaching.

Tobin is the author of the book Experts Never Chase and host of the “Family Friendly Fort Lauderdale” podcast. Tobin recently launched LiftedWithAI.com, exploring AI in K-12 education for personalized learning.

Tobin and Martina are parents to five children, including four who are now adults. They are starting development of a sister-school in Prague with a vision to foster a global community of like-minded families.
