Peter was born in Geelong, Australia and educated at The Geelong College. He has a BE and an MBA from Melbourne University.

He has written three books – The Fragility of Freedom, Liberty at Risk, and The Fortunate - and is a contributor to Quadrant and News Weekly, two of Australia's oldest and respected political journals. He blogs at www.peterfenwick.com where he applies Austrian economics and libertarian philosophy to current issues.
