What inspired you to start writing?

I started writing to respond to the acrimony of the 2016 election. I believe it is possible to have a civil debate about big controversial ideas without being contemptuous of your opponents.

What are your hobbies / interests?

Writing. Reading. Running. Hiking.

How did you discover the freedom philosophy?

There were always copies of National Review and Cato Journal in our home growing up. Then, in college I discovered Hayek.

Who are your favorite writers?

Friedrich Hayek, C. S. Lewis, Arthur Brooks
