About the Author
I am currently a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Statistics at the University of Connecticut. In the last decade or so we have seen a shift in many business sectors from descriptive to prescriptive analytics. As researchers, we are at the forefront of this movement, with a continued responsibility to uphold the integrity of research.
Before coming to UConn, I worked to build and lead the data science team at New York Engineers while also attending Columbia University in New York City for a Master of Science in Applied Analytics. My specialty before starting my doctoral studies lay in communicating complex statistical findings quickly and succinctly to a non-technical audience. In my free time, I run a small education/private tutoring company and am an avid freestyle skier. I also love a good rugby match and very recently starting keeping track of my non-Statistics reading.
