Alyssa Serebrenik
Alyssa Serebrenik is an Editorial Intern at FEE for Spring 2025, where she applies her background in information science and economics to support the organization's mission of promoting free-market principles. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Science with concentrations in Data Science and Markets, along with minors in Applied Economics and Computer Science, at Cornell University.
Alyssa's professional experience includes serving as a Global Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Bank of America, where she contributed to bond originations across various sectors and supported acquisition financing deals. She also conducted research for Cornell's Department of Government, focusing on the policies and operations of international financial institutions such as the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. In 2022, Alyssa co-authored "Spilling the Beans About Coffee: A Forecast of the Effects of Climate Change on the Coffee Industry," a research paper selected for publication in the Federal Reserve Bank of New York's Journal of Future Economists.
In addition to her research endeavors, Alyssa has served as a Teaching Assistant for courses in Behavioral Economics and Artificial Intelligence Policy at Cornell University.
