Rep. Paul to Maintain Pressure on Fed

“Some folks who watch the Federal Reserve Board were impressed by chairman Ben Bernanke’s unprecedented news conference yesterday. But the congressman who chairs the committee that oversees the board wasn’t so much. His name: Rep. Ron Paul of Texas, the GOP presidential hopeful and longtime Fed critic. Paul issued a statement after Bernanke’s news conference — the first-ever for a chairman of the secretive board — and said he’ll press on with his attempts to get an audit of the Fed’s activities.” (USA Today)
