James Ahiakpor

James Ahiakpor is a Professor of Economics at California State University, East Bay. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Toronto and he has taught at Saint Mary's University and the University of Ghana.

A contributor to numerous volumes, Professor Ahiakpor's books include Classical Macroeconomics: Some Modern Variations and Distortions, Keynes and the Classics Reconsidered, Multinationals and Economic Development: An Integration of Competing Theories, and The Economic Consequences of Political Independence: The Case of Bermuda. His articles and reviews have appeared in such scholarly journals as History of Economic Ideas, History of Political Economy, European Journal of Political Economy, American Journal of Economics and Sociology, Journal of the History of Economic Thought, The Independent Review, Southern Economic Journal, Journal of Modern African Studies, Canadian Journal of African Studies, Economic Development and Cultural Change, Journal of Development Economics, International Organization, Economic Bulletin of Ghana, Small Business Economics, and the Journal of Libertarian Studies.
