Gerry Ohrstrom is a private investor in New York City. In the past 25 years Gerry has spent much of his time in the nonprofit sector and recently founded the Epicurus Foundation. Prior to that, he worked in manufacturing, investment banking, and private equity. He is or has been a director of various corporations and nonprofit organizations, including the Reason Foundation, Atlas Network, the Santa Fe Institute, the Gruter Institute, and Open to Debate among others. His primary interests include science research & education, public policy, magic, music, serendipity and counterintuitive truths.
