E. Calvin Beisner, Ph.D., is Founder and National Spokesman of The Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation, a Christian network of natural scientists, economists, and theologians dedicated to promoting Biblical earth stewardship and economic development for the poor through free-market economics and access to abundant, affordable, reliable energy, and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
He is the author of three books on economics including Prosperity and Poverty: The Compassionate Use of Resources in a World of Scarcity and Prospects for Growth: A Biblical View of Population, Resources, and the Future, and of Social Justice: How Good Intentions Undermine Justice and Gospel, as well 9 other books and over 1,000 articles on the application of Biblical worldview, theology, and ethics to economics, government, and public policy.
He is former Associate Professor of Historical Theology and Social Ethics at Knox Theological Seminary and of Interdisciplinary Studies at Covenant College.
