Chad Wilcox joined the IEA as Chief Operating Officer in June 2014. Prior to joining the Institute, Chad spent nine years with the Institute for Humane Studies at George Mason University in Virginia.

While there, Chad managed projects across a wide range of operational areas including information technology, human resources, program administration, external relations, and marketing. Chad holds a M.Ed. in organizational leadership and a BA in political science and economics, both from Vanderbilt University in his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee.
