Here's what FEE has been up to this summer
Record-Breaking Seminar Attendance
This was our best year of student seminars in FEE’s history. Already we’ve welcomed nearly 1,700 high school and college students, and we’re set to welcome another 1,300 at seminars later this year. Students come to our 1-day and 3-day seminars believing that government intervention is necessary and good, but leave with a better understanding of the power of the free market.
Groundbreaking Inaugural FEEcon
We’re still buzzing here in the FEE office from the excitement and success of our inaugural FEEcon, which combined our largest-ever seminar with our annual donor retreat. The result was more than 600 people from 19 countries and 40 U.S. states coming together for three days of inspiration and education on the principles of a free society. I hope you will join us for FEEcon 2018!
Enormous 100K Facebook Reach
At FEE we’ve chosen to meet Millennials where they are (online) with inspiring and educational content on freedom, economics, and strong character. And we’re succeeding! Earlier this summer we reached 100K likes on Facebook, which means 100K people are seeing our content every day and sharing it with their network of friends at no cost to us.
Massive FEE.org Engagement
The top article on FEE.org in June was “The Amazing Arrogance of the Paris Climate Agreement” by FEE’s Director of Content, Jeffrey Tucker. This article was read by nearly 120,000 unique visitors on FEE.org — 74% of which were first time visitors! It’s articles like this that drive FEE.org’s growing traffic and our outreach to new, young, and untapped audiences eager for our message.
Diverse FEE.org Content
In July, FEE.org showcased 205 articles from 117 different authors. The diversity of our contributors helps keep FEE.org intellectually robust, and increases the numbers and diversity of our readers. Our high web traffic and commitment to high quality content makes FEE.org the preferred outlet for many authors.
Thank you for all that you do to help us recognize our vision of making the ideas of liberty familiar and credible to the rising generation.
