This special anniversary gathering brings together FEE’s supporters, partners, students, and friends to honor the extraordinary individuals whose work has shaped the future of economics education.

Founded in 1946, the Foundation for Economic Education has spent eight decades educating the next generation about the power of economic thinking and how it creates free and prosperous societies.
In our 80th anniversary year, FEE is proud to recognize three individuals who have made outstanding contributions to economics education.
Educator of the Year For Excellence in Teaching
Honoring those who bestow economic wonder and understanding to the next generation.
Enterprising Founder of the Year
Honoring the builders who are reinventing education one school at a time.
Economist of the Year
Honoring economists who transform economic understanding into inspiration and bring the ideas of free and prosperous societies to life.
VENUE
FEE’s Excellence in Economics Awards Dinner will be hosted at the Colony Ballroom in the Adele H. Stamp Student Union at the University of Maryland in College Park. The campus is a 45-minute to 1-hour drive from downtown Washington, DC.
The awards dinner is hosted alongside FEE’s Summer Campus, a week-long seminar held at the University of Maryland. Summer Campus attendees will also attend the dinner, and winners from the week’s speech and essay competition will present their work during the dinner program.
