EU Dubious about New U.S. Trade Rep


The Bush administration is facing criticism from European Union officials for nominating a low-profile official to become its chief trade negotiator. At a time when the next high-level global talks are already in doubt, the critics say, the move seems to lessen chances that any deal will be reached this year.
