China, U.S. to Talk Trade


Chinese leaders visiting Washington for high-level economic talks pointedly expressed their displeasure yesterday at recent U.S. trade sanctions and at tight U.S. controls on the export of high-technology goods. Their American hosts countered with attacks on Chinese piracy, government subsidies and poisoned pet-food ingredients. (Washington Post, Wednesday)
