Mr. Driver is originally from Atlanta, Ga. After starting his career as a 5th grade Science teacher in Brownsville, Brooklyn, Mr. Driver taught in various charter schools in Brooklyn. He has also held a wide range of leadership roles as an Associate Dean of Students, Grade Level Chair for 5th and 6th grade at Brownsville Collegiate at Uncommon Schools, Founding 9th grade World History teacher/DEI Facilitator at Uncommon Leadership Charter High School, 7th-grade History teacher/DEI Facilitator at Excellence Boys Academy, and Summer Academy Director at Uncommon Schools Summer Teaching Fellowship. He served with KIPP WAYS Academy for three years, Serving as a 6th ELA teacher, 7th grade ELA teacher, and Co-Chair for the ELA Department. Mr. Driver holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Morehouse College and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education, NY.
