Laura Bennett Peterson

Laura Bennett Peterson is an attorney and economist in Washington, D.C. She taught antitrust law and torts as an Associate Professor at Suffolk University Law School and was a John M. Olin Public Affairs Fellow and visiting scholar at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. She practiced law in the litigation department of the Proskauer Rose law firm in New York City and served as a White House and a Treasury Department economist.

Laura received her A.B. in Economics from Princeton University and her J.D. from Stanford Law School, where she was the Executive Editor of the Stanford Journal of International Law. She has an M.A. in International Studies, with a concentration in international economics, from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), where she was the Editor of the SAIS Review and went on to complete language and coursework requirements for the Ph.D.
