UK Health Service Keeps Elderly Waiting for Hearing Aids


A woman of 108 has been told by health chiefs that she must wait 18 months to get a new hearing aid…. Donna Tipping, from the Royal National Institute for the Deaf, said: 'I am afraid this is a common problem. There are more than half a million people waiting for hearing aids in this country.'
