“Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said he wants to slow consideration of an economic stimulus package that Democrats are hoping to send to President- elect Barack Obama soon after he takes office. McConnell yesterday called for giving lawmakers and the public at least one week to review the legislation once it has been written.
