FEE Alumni Board Welcomes New Members

FEE is proud to welcome the two newest members of the Alumni Board!

The Foundation for Economic Education Alumni Board is proud to announce the inductions of two new Board members: Zachary Slayback and Matthew Farag.

Zak Slayback began his journey with FEE in 2008, at the age of fifteen. He met Isaac Morehouse, Praxis Founder and FEE Faculty Network Member, at his first seminar. This introduction was the beginning of a long and fruitful professional relationship. Zak joined as an early team member at Praxis and worked there for several years. While at Praxis, Zak began exploring his passion for helping ambitious young people get ahead in their careers. Today, Zak is a career expert who works directly with young professionals looking to grow their networks and careers. His writing has been read more than 1.5 million times and printed in The Muse, Fast Company, Newsweek, the Christian Science Monitor, and the New York Observer. He’s the author of a forthcoming book from McGraw-Hill Professional. He has remained a loyal and active FEE Alumnus. He is a member of the FEE 100, a frequent contributor to, and the winner of the 2018 Leonard E. Read Distinguished Alumni Award Honorable Mention for Entrepreneurship.

Matthew (Matt) Farag began his journey with FEE in 2016 through his role with Youth Entrepreneurs, where he serves as a National Training and Curriculum Specialist. Matt has introduced many young entrepreneurs, most of whom are underserved, to FEE. He has been instrumental in exposing them to new opportunities and improving their lives through his work with Youth Entrepreneurs and is excited to continue to introduce students to FEE’s materials and philosophy.

We are excited to welcome Zak and Matt to the FEE Alumni Board. If you are interested and joining the Board or nominating a potential Board member, please email our Alumni Engagement Coordinator, Ms. Tricia Beck-Peter, at [email protected].
