Richard Vedder is a professor of economics at Ohio University and director of the Center for College Affordability and Productivity. Author of the seminal book Going Broke by Degree, he is one of the most quoted intellectuals on the subject of higher education. He served on the Bush administration's Commission on the Future of Higher Education. In 2008, he and an associate, Bryan O'Keefe, wrote a path-breaking paper for the Pope Center, Griggs v. Duke Poer: Implications for College Credentialing.
