Pennsylvania Summer 2023 Teacher Professional Development at PNC Park

This professional development opportunity is available exclusively to 30 Pennsylvania high school Economics teachers in the following counties: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Cambria, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Somerset, Washington, and Westmoreland.

Dates: June 21-22, 2023

June 21, 2023: Evening reception and dinner in downtown Pittsburgh, location TBD.
June 21, 2023: Complimentary hotel stay in downtown Pittsburgh, if requested. If no hotel is needed, teachers will receive an additional $50 Amazon gift card.
June 22, 2023 8am-4pm: Full day of professional development for Economics teachers at PNC Park. Breakfast and lunch included.

Join us for an incredible in-person economics professional development workshop. During this workshop we will take an in-depth look at the importance of free markets and limited government while demonstrating engaging pedagogy that will get your students actively learning and enjoying Economics. This will be a hands-on workshop!

Every teacher who completes this professional development will receive a $150 Amazon gift card.

This opportunity will be limited to the FIRST 30 teachers who meet the following requirements:
  • You teach in one of the following counties: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Cambria, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Somerset, Washington, Westmoreland.
  • You must complete 5 on-demand professional development modules on the FEE Learning Center prior to June 22, 2023.
  • Complete the registration form and submit your $49 deposit that will be refunded once you attend the workshop. (We do this when registration is capped so we don't end up with empty seats that could've been utilized by other teachers.)

Accommodations
The Foundation for Economic Education will provide a hotel room for anyone who requests one. If you do not need a hotel room, FEE will provide you with an additional $50 stipend.
