Public Speaking (with Rio College Phi Theta Kappa)

The Foundation for Economic Education is partnering with the honor society Phi Theta Kappa at Rio Salado College to bring members an engaging, virtual roundtable presentation on public speaking. Attendees will leave with relevant advice on how to use their speaking skills to reach new audiences in a compelling and effective way. This 1-hour professional development webinar was created with college students in mind, and is brought at no cost to students. Though this event is being hosted through the Phi Theta Kappa chapter at Rio Salado College, it is open to the public.

April 15th at 6:30pm AZ (9:30pm ET)

Dr. James Harrigan (Managing Director of the Center for Philosophy of Freedom at the University of Arizona and the F.A. Hayek Distinguished Fellow at the Foundation for Economic Education) will be facilitating the session. Dr. Harrigan is a prolific writer, podcast host for Words and Numbers, and seasoned educator who teaches civics and philosophy to students (and their teachers).
