Leadership and Character - Charlotte

The Foundation for Economic Education is partnering with the Institute for Responsible Citizenship for a 1-day event focused on the importance of Leadership and Character. The Institute's primary goal is to inspire and equip the nation's best and brightest African American men to use their extraordinary talents to serve others.

At this program:

  • FEE’s president, Lawrence W. Reed will explain the important relationship between liberty and character.
  • T.K. Coleman, educational director at Praxis, will share what it means to be a leader and how young leaders can embrace their own power.
  • Jason Riddle, FEE’s director of programs, will illustrate how thinking like an entrepreneur can lead to a life of greater meaning and purpose, whether or not you start a business.

This event is invitation only and being offered for 60 college students from the state of North Carolina who are currently participating in the Institute for Responsible Citizenship’s program.
