On Monday, October 22, FEE president will be in Caldwell, NJ to give a lecture entitled “My Favorite President — Grover Cleveland.” The event is hosted by The Grover Cleveland Birthplace Memorial Association.

Caldwell native Grover Cleveland’s three year meteoric rise from Mayor of Buffalo to NY Governor to President of the United States resulted in a short resume when he arrived at the White House, but Mr. Reed is impressed that Cleveland had an immense reservoir of the most important credential of all—character. Reed will discuss how Cleveland’s character served him and the nation extremely well because it led him to almost all the right actions.

The event is free and open to the public.
