You should plan to arrive at Chapman University (1 University Dr, Orange, CA 92866) no later than 3 PM on Tuesday, June 19th, and all participants are required to depart by 12 PM on Friday, June 22nd.
We recommend you fly into either Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) or John Wayne Airport (SNA). LAX is about 45 minutes from Chapman University. John Wayne Airport is a regional airport and about 15 minutes from Chapman; however, flights may be more expensive.
FEE will provide a shuttle to campus from each airport on arrival day and back to each airport on departure day. Shuttles will begin running at 11:30 AM from the airports and will stop running at 5 PM on June 19th. The last shuttle will leave campus at 12 PM on June 22nd. We will email you details about the shuttles as the seminar gets closer.
Because of the travel time to and from the campus, please choose an LAX flight that arrives before 1 PM or an SNA flight that arrives before 2 PM on Tuesday, June 19th. For departure flights, please choose an LAX flight that leaves after 9:30 AM and an SNA flight that leaves after 8 AM on Friday, June 22nd.
You will be staying in double occupancy dorm rooms with a roommate of your same gender and will share a private bathroom with your roommate. Please note that linens are NOT provided, so you will be responsible for bringing sheets (size twin extra long) & a blanket or a sleeping bag as well as a pillow, towels, and toiletries.
