2019 Morality of Capitalism at Clemson

FEE and the Clemson Institute for the Study of Capitalism will bring together some of the best and brightest economic minds in the country at this 3-day seminar for college students.

You'll have an incredible opportunity to dive deeper into why free enterprise and strong character offer the best opportunity to generate wealth for everyone. You'll also take part in game-changing discussions as well as meet and greet other inquisitive students during socials.

Tuition & Scholarships

Thanks to generous donors, tuition is just $79. Housing and meals are covered. Limited tuition and travel reimbursement scholarships are also available. Simply start your application. On page 2, select which scholarship(s) you want to apply for and answer the essay question.

How to Apply

Tuition payment is not required to apply. Once accepted to the seminar, you will receive an acceptance email asking you to make the $79 tuition payment. Be sure to do so within 4 weeks of your acceptance or you will lose your spot and scholarship(s).

Travel Information

Clemson University, South Carolina

You should plan to arrive at Clemson University no later than 5 PM on Thursday, May 23rd, and all participants are required to check out of their dorm room by 2 PM on Sunday, May 26th.

You will be staying in suite style dorms in a double occupancy room with a roommate who shares a bathroom with another double occupancy room. Basic linens, a light blanket, pillow, and towel will be provided.

For students within driving distance, parking is available on campus. Parking details will be sent to accepted applicants via email.

If you arrive by air, please fly into Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP). Please choose a flight that arrives before 3 PM on Thursday, May 23rd.  For your return trip on Sunday, May 26th, please pick a flight that leaves after 3PM if possible.

Clemson University is about 45-minutes from the airport, and we will provide shuttles to the airport based on the travel information that you send us. 

In the event that your arrival flight is delayed, or if you need to arrive in the area before May 23rd, you will need to arrange for your own transportation. Taxi service is available for about $60 - $100 per trip.
