Marketing Associate (Internship) 



The Foundation for Economic Education, founded in 1946, is the leader in education, publishing, and the production of ideas on a free economy. FEE seeks a diligent, self-motivated intern with strong writing skills to assist FEE in communicating more effectively with its prospects and customers.

Interns will receive hands-on training on professional marketing practices and work with the latest marketing strategies and technologies.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Help develop and execute inbound marketing plans, as well as collect, analyze, and interpret results from these marketing initiatives
  • Write, edit, design, and format marketing and promotional communications to produce a consistent brand image with persuasive messaging that drives results
  • Use FEE’s technological tools to build automated workflows, landing pages, calls-to-action, surveys, and lead collection forms
  • Build marketing automation flows, schedule popups on the website, discover insights through A/B testing
  • Write, target, and manage online advertisements
  • Contribute to FEE’s presence on social media
  • Assist the Director of Marketing with other marketing tasks, as needed


Qualifications and Experience


  • Superior writing skills and proven abilities as a strong communicator
  • A careful attention to detail
  • The ability to learn new things quickly
  • A data-driven mindset

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Editing, proofreading, layout, and design skills required for email and marketing communications
  • Hands-on experience with email marketing solutions such as HubSpot and MailChimp
  • Relevant experience with online advertising platforms, such as Facebook Business Manager

$1600/month + travel assistance + free books and resources
