About the Role:

The External Relations Associate will support FEE’s department of External Relations (ER) by helping to cultivate and maintain business relationships with partners and establishing partner leads that will ultimately help expose FEEs products, programs, and resources to new audiences on a large scale by leveraging partner networks. 

The ER Associate will support the ER Director in partner cultivation, database management, and serve as the communications person for new prospects in order to maintain FEEs high level of quality customer service and protect and maintain FEEs strong 76-year reputation in the liberty network and within the mainstream education space. This role will also involve internal coordination between teams. Some travel required.

The role requires a motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and with the utmost organizational skills. This position reports to the Director of External Relations (ER) and is a full time position.

Preference will be given to candidates who are based in, or can relocate to, Atlanta, GA and are able to work from FEE’s office 3-4 days per week. However, exceptional candidates who live in other areas and can work virtually will also be considered.


  • Primary role to assist FEEs ER Director in administrative tasks and customer service communications for partners and connectors
  • Collect, maintain, and report partnership data to internal stakeholders using Salesforce CRM
  • Work with the Marketing Project Manager to plan and track deadlines for leveraged partner distribution and promotion of FEE products and programs using Monday.com
  • Enter and keep updated the partner opportunities on FEE.org Student Resources page using Umbraco
  • Work with FEEs Office Manager to ship books and material fulfillment for conferences, partners, and events from FEEs warehouse in Norcross, GA
  • Assist the ER Director with conference and events oversight to include managing FEEs exhibit booths at various conferences and events (generally 2/month)
  • Provide administrative support for the FEE Learning Center. This may include customer service support for teachers, fulfillment of teacher rewards for our users, data entry and other duties as determined by the FEE Learning Center Director.

Skills and Qualifications: 

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Minimum 3-5+ years in sales, project management and customer service experience 
  • Must have tech skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Google docs/sheets, and Salesforce CRM
  • Nice to have tech skills: FormAssembly, Umbraco, Pardot, and Monday.com
  • Utmost professionalism in all communications with a commitment to and focus on 100% excellence in customer service
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Highly effective in relationship building and cultivation
  • Timely responses for partnership requests and all communications
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, dependability, and thoughtfulness in all tasks
  • Proven track record of strong communication skills to include written, speaking, and networking abilities
  • Proactive attitude to exceed expectations and take initiative with an entrepreneurial spirit

  • Enthusiastic desire and self-motivation for mastery, even in minor tasks (quick learner)
