Directions to FEE

By Air and Train

  • From LaGuardia and JFK

    • The most direct transportation from JFK and LaGuardia to FEE is the Westchester Express shared-ride shuttle service (800-532-3730), which has frequent departures each day.

    To catch the shuttle, please go to a Ground Transportation Information Center in the terminal and speak to an agent or dial “21” on the courtesy phone if no one is at the desk.

    The fare is approximately $45 from JFK and approximately $42 from LaGuardia. This shuttle will bring you directly to FEE, 30 S. Broadway, Irvington (Westchester County), New York.

    Another option is to catch a $12 shuttle from LGA under any “New York Airport Service” sign straight to Grand Central Station. JFK arrivals may take a $15 shuttle straight to Grand Central near any “New York Airport Service” sign. See "From Grand Central Station" section below.

  • From Westchester County Airport in White Plains (HPN)

    • There is taxi service at the Westchester County Airport. The fare from the airport to Irvington is approximately $40, plus gratuity. Please call Riverside Taxi Car Service at 914-591-2227, or 800-631-RIDE (7433) to arrange for this service. Riverside will bring you directly to 30 S. Broadway.

  • From Newark Airport

    • Newark airport is located less conveniently from FEE than the other three airports.

    Students who fly into Newark should go to Ground Transportation and arrange to take a Coach USA/Airport Express (212-964-6233) to Metro-North Trains at Grand Central Station.

    The fare is approximately $13, plus the Metro-North fare. The buses run every 30 minutes from 4:00 AM to 11:00 PM. See "From Grand Central Station" section below.

  • From Grand Central Station

    • From Grand Central Station in New York City, take the Metro-North Hudson Division Line local train to Irvington. During off-peak schedule trains run hourly at 20 minutes after the hour. During peak schedule train fare to Irvington is $8.50 (5:00 am-10:00 am and 4:00 pm-8:00 pm, Monday through Friday), and it is $6.25 for the rest of the day. Click here to view the train schedule. Purchase tickets at Grand Central rather than on the train to avoid paying a surcharge. Call us (914-591-7230) to let us know which train you are taking. We will pick you up at the Irvington train station!

    By Bus

    Buses will arrive at the Port Authority Terminal (8th Ave. & 42nd St.), which is within walking distance of Grand Central Station (Park Ave. & 42nd St.). Click here to view the map. Follow the instructions under "From Grand Central Station."

    By Car

    FEE is located on US 9, two miles south of the Tappan Zee Bridge/New York State Thruway.

  • From Westchester County or Lower Connecticut:

    • Take I-287 West or I-87 North (NYS Thruway). Follow the highway to Exit 9 which is the last exit before the Tappan Zee Bridge toward Route 9, Tarrytown.

    At the light turn left on Route 119 West. Go one block to traffic light and turn left on Route 9 South (Broadway).

    Continue for approximately 2 miles south into Irvington. After passing the traffic light at Main St. (there is a gasoline service station on the right), continue 300 yards.

    At the driveway marked by two stone pillars and FEE’s sign, turn right and continue to the parking area.

  • From Rockland County, Upstate New York, or New Jersey

    • Take NYS Thruway (I-87) South; across the Tappan Zee Bridge and exit immediately after the toll at Exit 9, Route 9, Tarrytown. At the light turn left onto Route 9 South (Broadway). After passing the traffic light at Main St. (there is a gasoline service station on the right), continue 300 yards. At the driveway marked by two stone pillars and FEE’s sign, turn right and continue to the parking area.

  • From Manhattan

    • Take the West Side Highway if you are south of 57th Street, or Riverside Drive if you are north of 57th Street to the first available entrance to Henry Hudson Parkway.

    Stay on Henry Hudson. Do not cross the George Washington Bridge and do not exit onto Route 9/Broadway.

    A few miles north of the GW Bridge, you will come to Henry Hudson Bridge. Cross that bridge and follow the signs to Saw Mill River Parkway North. Follow Saw Mill River Parkway North and get off at Exit 17, Ardsley/Ashford.

    At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Ashford Avenue. Drive for about a mile until you come to the intersection with Broadway (Route 9).

    Turn right on Broadway and follow the road to Irvington (about 1.4 miles).

    Soon after the lighted intersection with Harriman Rd. you will see a stone wall, on the left followed by our driveway. Turn sharp left into the driveway and you will see the FEE sign and continue to our parking lot.
