Economics of Political Power:

The seminar will take place in Grand Rapids, MI one the beautiful campus of Calvin College. Grand Rapids has been ranked the #3 city in the nation for fun and recreation, so think about making an extended trip! Check out some of the things to do while you’re in town and we’ll also be exploring the city through evening socials.

You should plan to arrive at Calvin no later than 3:00 pm on Monday, June 1st, and all participants are required to depart by 12:00 pm on Thursday, June 4th.

If you are flying, plan to fly into Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR).  Calvin is only about 15 minutes from the airport, and you are responsible for transportation to and from the airport.

Because of the travel time to and from the campus, please choose a flight that arrives before 2:30 p.m. on Monday, June 1st and a flight that departs after 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 4th.

You will be staying in suite style dorm rooms.  You will stay in a double occupancy dorm with a roommate of your same gender and will share a bathroom with another double occupancy room, also of your same gender.  A linen packet is provided and includes sheets, towels, wash cloths, pillow, pillow case, and comforter. Please note that Calvin College does not have air conditioning in the dorm buildings.
