The Foundation for Economic Education will host multiple sessions at FreedomFest 2012 (July 11 – July 14). The annual festival where free minds meet to “celebrate great books, great ideas and great thinkers” in an open-minded society is a natural place for us to meet old friends and make new ones.

This year a special FEE Day at FreedomFest will celebrate the work and great achievements throughout the years of the oldest free market organization. We invite FreedomFest participants to join FEE staff and scholars for three thought-provoking sessions:

Thursday, July 12,  2:30pm – 3:20pm
Steven Horwitz, Jeffrey Rogers Hummel
Inflation No Longer Works:Watch Out for New State Powers

Thursday, July 12,  3:30pm – 4:20pm
Steven Horwitz
What Austrian Economics Is and What Austrian Economics is Not

Thursday, July 12,  4:30 pm – 5:20pm
Jeffrey Rogers Hummel
A U.S. Government Default: Inevitable and Desirable

Please come meet FEE staff: Carl Oberg, Sheldon Richman, and Tsvet Tsonevski at the FEE table in the Exhibit Hall to say hello and learn about another student seminar season, The Freeman, FEE Alumni Network (FAN), FEE Board of Scholars and more exciting opportunities from FEE.
