Join us in Irvington, NY for An Evening at FEE on Saturday, March 8 to hear Tsvetelin Tsonevski discuss "Why Socialism Fails.”

Growing up on the other side of the "Iron Curtain," Tsvet had the opportunity to experience personally the reality of socialism, which failed to deliver economic prosperity to the people of Eastern Europe. Combining personal anecdotes and Austrian economics—particularly Ludwig von Mises’s economic calculation argument—Tsonevski explores whether this is an accidental or a systematic failure.

Tsvet Tsonevski joined the free-market community first as a “Social Change” analyst at the Charles G. Koch Charitable Foundation in Washington, DC and then as a research coordinator at the Institute for Humane Studies in Arlington, VA. From 2010 through 2013, he was the director of academic affairs at FEE. Currently, Tsvet directs student programs for The Independent Institute in Oakland, CA. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Institute for Market Economics and the editor of the first edition of Ludwig von Mises's Human Action in Bulgarian.
